न कहना विनती, बिना छुए हस्तमस्तक संयोग ।
बिना लेपित विभूति पट, न सुने कर्ण मंत्र
भरे बिना छलक कलशाभिषेक बिना आगम दीक्षा ,
पूजा अस्समत लिंग, संग रहित संबंध,
एक ही भाव का अनुग्रह
योग्य जैसे करो गुहेश्वरा।

English Translation Should the master you never hoped to see
Appear before your eyes,
What need of utterance to your prayer?
What need of touching to your touch?
What need of ash-mark's smear, or
The whispered spell in your ear?
The holy water need never flow, and
For your initiation
No chapter and verse of Scripture be intoned.
Here you have the Linga without worship.
A bond without binding.
Oh, make me, O Guheśvara,
Fit to receive Thy fitting grace.
